Is Protected Sex Safe To Have While Being On Treatment For Chlamydia?

I found out 3 weeks ago I have chlamydia. I was percribed Doxy twice a day for ten days. I am not done my percribtion. Is it safe for me to have sex with protection? All the symtoms are gone except the foul smell from discharge. My doctor doesn't want to see me for another 4 weeks.

Thank you for query.it is better to avoid inter course during this period as still discharge is present and also further abrasions may occur and worsening of situation may occur.Dr Bharatesh D Basti dermatologist.
