Is Protein In Urine With Increased A1C During Routine Diabetic Check Anything To Worry ?

i am from india.since one year i am getting my routine urine done because i am diabetic but in control.my a1c is 5.4 this time.in my urine their is always protein(10.0mg/dl) rbc 0-2hpf pus cells 25-30 i got my urine culture done it is normal(sterile). is any thing searious.

there are two possibilities that are happening
one possibility is that you have a urinary tract infection. the raised pus cells suggest as much. the proteinuria may be secondary to that

second possibility is that you are developing a renal damage. the excess pus cells may be secondary to that. I think the possibility of the latter is high.

But i sincerely hope the former is the case- its more easy to treat.
