Is Pumping Breast Milk Advisable After Chemical Peeling?

I had a facial which included a quick chemical peel with gycolic acid - sallyic acid - and malic acid - but very small amounts of it - the aesthetician said to pump and dump the first bottle of breast milk and I ll be okay after that - is that accurate? I m worried!

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Yes, this should be fine.

Though there may be a small amount of absorption through the skin, it would not be enough to cause continued problems so your suggestion from your aesthetician is fine.

Your baby should not have any ill effects from your treatment.

I hope this helps
