Is Putting Noritate Cream On Cauterized Areas Safe?

hi, i just had two raised, skin coloured moles removed by way of cauterization last week. the dermatologist gave me some noritate 1% cream but i wasn't sure if it is to be applied on the cauterized area, or other small moles i was inquiring about. the scab on the cauterized areas have fallen off but is still a little pink. should i put the noritate cream on it?
