Is Random Blood Sugar Value Of 145 A Cause For Concern?

Dear,sir I have checked my random blood sugar levels morning and evening and it comes around 1 hr after food or breakfast 145RBS and my weight 112kg and height 175cm.what should I do I read some books write 160rbs is final range for rbs but some write 140rbs.plz give me advice

Random blood sugar measurement alone is not a diagnostic indicator for diabetes mellitus.
RBS of 145 mg/dl is borderline higher than normal range.
Also,with 112 Kg for height of 175 cm, your Body Mass Index (BMI) is 36.57, which is classified as Obese (Type II). You are having a high risk of developing non-communicable disease like diabetes mellitus and hypertension, which needs to be taken care of.
For diagnosis of diabetes mellitus, kindly get the following tests done:
1. Fasting blood glucose in the morning after an overnight fast of 10 to 12 hours.
2. Post-prandial blood glucose on the same day at 2 hours after taking regular breakfast.
3. Glycate hemoglobin (HbA1c) levels in whole blood.
Kindly consult Physician or Diabetologist with the report and take an opinion.
