Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Is Recurring Flushed Redness On Face While On BP Medication A Cause For Concern?
My mother is 94, in good health with high blood pressure successfully treated with medication, Her face is flushed red after having a bath, several hours later. She tires more easily than she used to. She just wants to lie down. However there are no other symptoms, no fever, nausea, additional flushing on her body, no headache and face is not terribly hot to the touch, just mildly warm. She is overweight but not obese. Appetite is good.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, I could guess she is really doing fine and flushing is just the matter of concern then it is nothing to worry because it may not be sign of any disease hope this information helps.
