Is Red Sclera After Cataract Surgery Normal?

My husband had cataract surgery 3 days ago and now the white of his eye on the bottom half and under the lower lid is red red red like someone poked him in the eye but no blood is coming out he is using his drops and has no other issues Is this normal part of healing

It seems to be a normal phenomenon.
Gradually this will subside.
Continue your treatment as usual for a month or so.
