Is Reddish, Bumpy Area In Tonsil Bed Post Tonsillectomy Normal?

Hello! I am currently day 26 post op for my tonsillectomy, the healing has been a long journey, as my tonsils were chronically infected, I even had pus in them. My scabs are pretty much gone but I have been noticing a light reddish bumpy lifted area in my tonsil bed (where the scabs were present) I am just wondering if this is normal? One side is apparently worst then the other. I have also been experiencing bouts of runny nose and headaches. I have a picture attached for you to examine (http://s1297.photobucket.com/user/kaeopayton/library/Mobile%20Uploads) Thank you very much!

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it is not whether the tonsillitis is chronic or acute infection because healing is process and it happens accordingly if the immune system is strong enough then healing would be fast but some time in malnourished and in immune compromised patient it may delayed, otherwise this is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care.
