Is Reducing Ribovirin Dosage Advisable While Having Low Blood Count?

hello, l am being treated for hep c with Osvaldo and ribovarin. I am fatigued and my red blood count keeps dropping currently at 8.2 last check. My dr. Has lowered my ribovarin from 1200 mugs. To 800 mugs. 4 pills a day from 6 per day. He said if gets to a blood count of 7 a blood transfusion may be needed. Does this meet protocol and is lowering dose of ribovarin right approach? 2 questions. YYYY@YYYY
