Is Regular Intake Of Finasteride And Novophane Plus Harmful?
Hi Doctor, im 34 year old having hair problem for last 3 years...they keep falling and coming back not completely but recovers back...i have undergone a treatment and continously taking 1mg finax and applying gain hair 10% with halox or zypip lotion, novophaneplus tablet and renocia shampoo. few things i would like to know..im continuesly taking finastride and novophane plus for last 2 years...will it harm?....as i discontinue tabs, hairfall starts again... i have deficiency of vitamin D and starting taking supplement for same.. plz guide

Hello,
Taking any medicine for a long period may produce side effects. It is suggested to taper the dose or switch to some other medicine for a while so that resistance to the medicine does not develop. If resistance develops it will not work.
Sometimes side effects of the two medicines (Finasteride & Novaphane plus) cause difficulty in breathing, chest tightness, thickening of the bronchial secretions or bronchospasm. At such times you should immediately report to your treating doctor & visit ER, you need medical aid.
