Hi, I m 31 yrs of age female and my TSH 3rd Generation value was 4.270, around 3 weeks back and I was advised Thyronorm 12.5 mg daily, as I m trying to get pregnant. Please suggest if it is ok to take this med daily. Also if any other precaution or advise you may provide will be thankful of you.

Hello,

I think you should take thyronorm daily during pregnancy. Your body produces less thyroid hormones and that's why you are taking it. Stopping it will put your baby at risk of Hypothyroidism.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
