Is Removal Of Ovary Only Way Out For Endometriosis Ovarian Cyst?

Hi,
I am 40 and I have been diagnosed with an endometriosis ovarian cyst (5 cm in December, now 7 cm). CA 125 is 317 (0-35 normal level). I saw two doctors: one is seriously concerned and wants to remove cyst, ovary, tube and omentum; the other one says that CA125 can increase for reasons that are not a tumor. He suggests laparascopy to remove only the cyst. Other symptoms: low fever (37.2) that disappear after 1-2 hours; pain on the left side (when the cyst is) both front and back; I have also noticed a slight weight increase. I am on a waiting list for an operation Please, can you help me to understand? Thank you very much indeed, A
