Is Retinoid Creams Effective For Acne?

I am suffering from Rosacea and acne. I am fair complexioned with sensitive and oily skin. I had visited a dermatologist and he had advised me the usage of PICON 30 along with cetaphil moisturizing cream .But it is breaking me out and is causing more whiteheads and oiliness in my skin without redness as well as acne. Sunscreens breaks me out so I use it sparingly but I am also photo allergic and. Please advice a regimen I I need to follow to have a healthy skin. Also can I use Retinoid creams to treat the acnes? I am 29 years old female with height of 5 feet and 7 inches. Weight is 60 kgs.

HI
Well come to HCM
As long as the acne is concern this is just lengthy treatment and one need to be in follow up for long time, right now the condition can be initially treated with "Tab Doxycycline 100 mg once in day, Erythromycin cream" for local application for 15 days, after this you need to see the dermatologist for further advise and treatment, take care, have a nice day.
