Is Rheumatism Of Knees, Elbows And Writs A Permanently Disabling Condition?

Dear Doctor,

My wife has a Rheumatic problem in her both knees, elbow and Wrists and want to get her treated. There are a following basic questions I need an answer to:

1. Where should I go for treatment?

2. She is suffering for the last 5 months and its getting severe. Which is the best hospital for the treatment in India?

3. What could be the time required and cost inccured for the treatment?

4. Is it at all curable or going to cause permanent disability?
