Is Rib Cage Pain While Coughing A Symptom Of Pleurisy?

I think I may have pleurisy? I am hurting in my back rib cage and front some. It hurts bad if I cough or sneeze; a couple weeks ago this same thing occurred. my primary care dr ordered a chest x-ray and it did not show anything broken and lungs seemed clear. It hurts to breathe in back and front rib cage.p

Pin in chest while breathing is suggestive of muscular pain or pleuritic pain. Pleuritic pain is pain caused by inflammation of the pleura. I suggest you to consult your pulmonologist with investigations.
