Is Rise In Heartbeat A Side Effect Of Lisinopril?

My husband has just started Lisinopril medication 10mg. He takes it at 9pm each evening and by 1-2am in the morning he awakes with racing heartbeat and finds it difficult to go back to sleep. Is this side effect serious - should he consult his doctor about this thanks
