Is Road Travel Recommended During 24 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

hi its my 24th week of pregnancy. I had a threatened abortion at 8th week of pregnancy. I did one month bed rest. Till than I'm normal, going to my job 4 days a week. Now I want to travel to my mother's place. Its a 3 hour drive. I'll drive by road. Can I travel or not.

So long as there is no turbulence on the way, there
is little to be worry about. If the road is tarred then
it will be fine.

You just need to avoid going at high speed to avoid
rapid deceleration in case you meet an obstacle.
Rapid deceleration of the car could have a traumatic
effect on the baby and the placenta as well. So you
need to take note of that.

So if you go without turbulence, there will be no
problem.

Some woman however when pregnant, after long
distance travelling can develop swelling of their legs.
this is a common thing and it should not scare you
if it happens.
