Is Rosuvas 10 Is Correct Medication For High BP And Pulse?

I am 54 years old, HTN with positive TMT. BP is 137/69, pulse 84 and previous medicines are Deplett 75, Eco 75, Olmezest 20, Metpure XL 12.5, and Rosuvas 20. On dated I carried out my tests for S.Creatinine, S.Cholesterol and S.TG. The values are S.Creatinine-1.56, S.Cholestorol-93 and S.TG-77. On dated 29 march-14, I was attended for routine check up at CGHS Hospital and the physician has checked the report and discontinued Deplett 75 and Olmezest 20 and advised Rosuvas 10. I wanted to ask that whether the above prescription is correct?

Hello welcome to HCM.
I have read your question and understand your concerns.
Your prescription needs some modifications otherwise he has done right changes.

My advice to you is -

1. The most important thing is your Trademill test is Positive for ischaemia which usually indicates that you should go for angiography to confirm whether any blockade is there or not. (TMT is not 100% specific everytime).

2.Reduction in rosuvastatin dose is accepted and right. He has continued one antipletlet drug tab ecosprin to prevent heart attack. But one anti anginal drug should be added until next TMT or angiography. Tab olmezest has been stopped as your S. Creat is slightly high. Just repeat your S. Creat after 2 months, if it's normal than your creatinine might be raised due to tab olmezest.

3. Consult a cardiologist also once and show him your TMT report. He will advice you how to plan further, ask also about modifications I have suggested.
Thank you.
Have a nice day.
