Is Sciatica, Related With Buttocks Pain And Difficulty In Physical Movements?

my husband has severe pain/discomfort in his left buttocks area that prevents him from walking or standing. Sitting and lying down seem to be the best positions. He's very active and this situation is debilitating for him. We wonder if its sciatica. We also wonder how to deal with it. Thanks. Heidi Findley
