Is Sensitiveness In Testicle Normal After Hydrocele Surgery?

Hi! Last year (4th of July, 2010) I had done a hydrocele surgery. After one year, everything is ok. The only thing is that I have noticed that my testicle which had the hydrocele,is now more sensitive than the other one. I don't feel any pain, it is just more sensitive. Is it normal? Will it be less sensitive as the other one in time? Thank you!

Hi.
Tanks for your elucidate history.
During the hydrocele surgery the part of the tunica, the covering over the testis is either removed or crumpled so that the fluid is now absorbed by the under-surface of the skin.
Hence the area which now bare can give rise to the so-called increased sensitivity as compared to the other non-operated testis/hydrocele.
Hence nothing much to worry about.
