Is Severe Gastritis Due To Metoprolol And Simvastatin In A Diabetic Patient?
I m a diabetic on Janumet and another pill I take before each meal. Glymiperide or something like that. Anyway, lately I ve developed gas pressure in my intestinal tract. I have some irregularity but not so much to call me constipated. I m concerned if my medications I m on are causing the problem. I m on metoprolol, flecanide, symvastatin, savaysa and a host of vitamins. What s puzzling is that my gas build up as it were, happens while I m in bed. Thoughts?

hi..the gastritis which u r facing it could probably because of metformin which is a content of janumet ..for this u can take antacid like pantoprazole ..i would not suggest u to stop janumet ..have more fibre diet with diet control and exercise ..
