Is Sharp Abdominal Pain And Discharge Like Mucus Symptom Of Ectopic Pregnancy?

I got the paragard IUD in November of 2012. Just two weeks ago I began to get sharp abdominal pains on the right side followed with some spotting and mucus like discharge. I searched it online and it said it could be an ectopic pregnancy. The pains come and go, not constant, but the pain is worse each time.

hi welcome to healthcare magic forum,we can't say its ectopic or something else (displaced IUD)without confirmation.So better get an ultrasound done to confirm & with report consult your doctor who put IUD.take care.
