Is Shingles Associated With Dizziness, Headache And Ringing In The Ears?

I spent the weekend in the hospital with my dad, who was diagnosed with shingles and cellulitis on his face. Today, the left side of my face has gotten redder and redder and is burning and hot. Had a little dizzy spell , have a slight headache, and my ears are ringing louder than usual. I had chicken pox as a child, but could I have caught the shingles?
