General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing in HCM.
Well, skipping is a good exercise but it will not reduce your abdominal fat directly. But it will help you to burn good amount of calories. About 150 to 200 counts twice a day would be ideal to keep you fit and in good shape. You can continue skipping along with other exercises.
If you want to particularly reduce abdominal fat, you need to do exercise meant for abdomen only (abs). You can contact any fitness trainer for help in this regard.
All the best.
