Is Skipping Harmful During The First Month Of Conception?
hello...i m 28yr old girl and was thinking of baby. However since i have put on weight recently so started with skipping twice a day. SO wanted to whether it is right to do it when i know i want to plan for baby & i know i may conceive any time. Mostly i will be unaware of pregnancy for atleast a month in which time if i do skipping will it be harmful for me ?

Hi..skipping is an exercise which may pose threat to initial pregnancy due to increased intra-abdominal pressure and jerk..so in case you are planning pregnancy and may be pregnant, its better to avoid skipping and instead opt for other light exercises such as brisk walking, swimming, yoga etc..and additionally start tablet folic acid 5 mg/day preconceptionally..
