Is Sleep Deprivation Caused Due To Post-traumatic Stress After An Accident?

Interested in possible reasons, had a bad accident two years ago. Broke 15 bones 29 places but was speaking and thinking ok so never really checked mentally. Now have recently fell a couple of times, had 9 small accidents, fender benders only with my vehicle and fixed objects. Wonder if something could be happening in my brain, but I am an insomniac since then and maybe sleep deprivation ?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Sleep deprivation may be part of underlying brain injury sequence or stress, anxiety or depression post trauma event. Must consult an expert Neurophysician for evaluation of the cause underlying and manage accordingly at earliest. Till that time, meditations with YOGA will help you a bit for better sleep possibility.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
