Hi,

Some people think that oxycodone causes relaxation and hence sleepiness. But in reality, it causes drowsiness and in some cases even sleep disturbances like sleep deprivation and insomnia are very much frequent and normal. Therefore in my opinion, you should talk with your doctor regarding this and he may prescribe you any other analgesic, if being prescribed for pain.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
