Is Slight Cough, Sore Throat, Headache And Chills Beginnings Of A Flu?

Husband had the flu for the last 7 days. I started having slight cough, sore throat and headache for past 5 days. Today I had chills for 2 hours in the morning but no other symptoms after chills stop. I was expecting my symptoms to go away since it is now day 5 or its it the start of something?
