Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Puncture site usually heals within a week. Since it's been more than a month now there should not be any concern regarding puncture site. You have not done any exercise for prolong period of time, your symptoms might be due to muscular soreness after exercise. If the pain/irritation continues, if you note any bruising, pus, or blood coming out of that site immediately consult your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
