Is Slightly Dilated Left Atrium And Shortness Of Breath A Serious Condition?
i've undergone a 2d echo, ultrasound... the ultrasound result is my galblladder, liver and bile duct and pancreas are all normal... in 2d echo result, i have slightly dilated left atrium... is that dangerous?.. sometimes, i have a feeling of shortness of breath, and i have a feeling that im having a heart attack.
Slightly dilated atrium – nothing to worry about / could be normal variant / re-check after 1 or 2 years Shortness of breath needs evaluation – Anxiety, heart failure, asthma area few causes… The treating doctor alone can suggest further based on his assessment of the situation.
Take care God bless
