Is Slow Healing Of A Subtle Fracture At The Base Of The 2nd And 3rd Metatarsal Bones Normal While Having Swelling, Occasional Acute Pain, Itching?

I have subtle fracture at the base of 2nd and 3rd metatarsal bone, has been a been since the day of fractur. I see very small progress in healing. There fractured area is still swollen but it s a small one. I would like to know if this is normal. I do get some acute pain overnight and itsches every now and then. I still can t weight bear . .
