Is Small Bumps On Temple With History Of Bleeding And Clotted Head Injury Serious?

Recently I was beat up pretty badly, I was taken to the hospital and I had some bleeding in my head that clotted. I was released from the hospital 2 days latter and have been fine for the most part, however I have noticed a few small bumps or Knots where my injuries occurred. One of which is larger than the others. It is on my left temple and doesn't have any color or bruising,it doesn't hurt and I am not getting any weird head aches or loss of vision. I have a follow up with the Neurologist on the 15th but I am concerned because of the severity of the injury and need to know if I should go to the ER before then. I am in really good physical shape but I do smoke and drink social. What should I do outside of quite smoking??
