Is Small, Red, Bleeding Hole On Roof Of Mouth After Sinus Surgery Serious?

I an recovering from sinus surgery. I recently developed a small red hole in roof of my mouth that bleeds intermittently -especially when I try to clear my sinuses. A doctor examined it and cauterized it, but it is still bleeding. do I return to him or wait a week to see if it stops on its own?

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The bleeding from the oral mucosa following sinus surgery can be because of oroantral fistula or communication which is a complication of sinus surgery or it can also occur while removing a tooth. Nothing to be panic, consult your ENT or oral maxillofacial surgeon and get it closed surgically.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
