Is Small Tummy In Pregnancy A Problem?

hello doctor, i am 33 weeks pregnant and i had my fetal anomaly scan during my 26 weeks, the results were all good and normal and also i was told by my OB that the baby and me is just doing good. my problem is that everytime people see me most of them are saying that my tummy seems quite small for his age and i can't help to be anxious that something is wrong even if my OB told me that everything is okay. what can i do for me to be sure that there is really no problem?

Hi,

Welcome to healthcare magic. I have read your question.

I would like to reply as below:

1) Small tummy is not a problem.

2) Concentrate on proper weight gain.

3) Get ultrasound scan to rule out IUGR

If you have any further queries, let me know so that I can help you much better.

Wish you good health.

Dr. Soumya
