Is Smoking Marijuana Safe After Pectus Excavatum Repair?
On June 15 I had pectus excavatum surgery to fix my chest and my birthday is tomorrow and my friend wanted to smoke some marijuana but I don t know if I should. Would smoking marijuana affect my chest in any way? Or do I have to wait longer in order for me to smoke?
Marijuana is generally bad to your body, especially after a surgical procedure. It will delays recovery and wound healing. So better to avoid especially in the post-op period.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
