Is Smoking Dangerous While On Nexium Hp7?

Hi i am taking nexium hp7 for my upset stomach prescribed by doctor but i have got some side effects like diarrhoea, stomach bloating, vomiting. As i smoke, do i have to quit smoking while having nexium hp7. Is smoking dangerous while taking this medicine.
