yea do i have a flu or a cold or what is it . last night i started sneezing i thought they were my allergies but they werent then i woke up more tired than usual and i felt worse through out the day . i have a fever of 102 my lower back hurts alot i have a big headache my eyes hurt and so do my legs. i feel very sock amd weak and tired
These symptoms are suggesting flu. In viral infection fever is usually mild (max 100F) but as in your case it has gone to 102F so it is suggesting bacterial infection. I would suggest you following things: > Take amoxicilin/clavulanic acid 625mg thrice a day for 7 days > Take acetaminophen for pain & fever > Take levocetirizine one at night for 5 days. > Take hot water in a cup, add 1 table spoon salt in it. Perform gargles (mouth wash) with it three times a day for at least 3 days. It will give soothing effect.
AVOID: > Chilled water > Drinks > Spicy food
Report to hospital if: > Condition remain same after 2-3 days > Any unusual symptom appears > Condition deteriorates. > There is difficulty in breathing.
