ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, Its better not to snort cocaine in post tonsillectomy period at least for 15-21 days till your surgeon clears that your tonsillar base healed well. If you snort cocaine the deposition of drug in the open raw surface of the tonsillar fossae may cause chemical burns and delays healing with fibrosis. Later on it may cause pulling of tonsillar regionand dysphagia. so avoid. Take care.
