Is Sore Throat And Nose Occurred After Painting, A Case To Seek Medical Help?

My father recently painted a ceiling with PERMA-WHITE Zinsser low VOC paint. He now reports a sore throat and nose, but not exactly a burning feeling. Is this a case for medical help or will that feeling go away on its own. Currently he has it now 1 day
