Is Sore Throat,neck Pain And Ear Pain Sign Of Meningitis?

I am a 22 year old female, my roommate just had a cold and i have had a rose throat for 2 days and today the left side of my neck toward the back. it hurts to bend to the right side and now a little pain with most motion. just wondering if its the cold or he it is likely that i have meningitis my nmom has me paranoid. the pain also shows up in my ear down to my shoulder and into my left eye.
