Welcome at HCM...
I have gone through your query and being your doctor I completely understand your health concerns. .
Spironolactone is very good drug to treat edema and ascites in chronic liver disease...
What is your complaint after starting it? What is dise yoy are taking??! Sometimes due to overdosage the blood pressure may get low along with electrolyte imbalance.
You should visit your doctor for proper assessment..
Hope your query is answered adequately...
