Is Spotting Post Sex In The 6th Week Of Pregnancy A Cause For Concern?

Hi. I has sex today and i am 6 weeks pregnant and right after I noticed blood in the toilet when I went pee. Every time I wipe I do see blood on toilet paper and in the toilet slightly similar to a period. I put a pad on to document how much blood I m losing. I had a stomach ache earlier but not really cramps. Should I be concerned? Is this just postcoital bleeding? Thanks

Coitus during pregnancy is not advisable. Some times it may rupture the membrane also. Better to avoid this act. If bleeding persists for 2 more days then there is need to consult gynecologist.
