Hello and welcome,

The staph may be responsible for the infertility.

However if it is more than a year since you are attempting pregnancy then other conditions like uterine abnormalities, ovulation problems, tubal blocks and husbands semen analysis also need to be ruled out as potential causes of non conception. So discuss these with your doctor and get investigated for optimum results.

Wish you all the best for your quest for pregnancy.
Hope this satisfies your query.
