Is Stem Cell Treatment Advisable For Hair Loss?

Hi Im 21 years old.... em suffering from hairfall sunce 4 5 yrs .. continously. . .. days by day my hairs are getting thin.. itchy scalp .. when i cosult a doctor she suggested me for stem cell treatment ...when I was in 8th standard I was suffered from typhoid... after that I removed all my hairs... when I get the new hairs they are not good as I have early ... So what should I do now... ? :(

Hi

The cause of itchy scalp should be identified and treated.Otherwise any hair fall treatment would not give permanent results.

Dandruff or seborrheic dermatitis can cause itchy scalp. Antifungal shampoos containing ketoconazole can be used.

High protein intake and adequate hydration is essential.Multivitamin tablets can be taken once a day after food.

After which, minoxidil treatment can be tried. PRP also called platelet rich plasma treatment or hair transplant are also other treatment options.
