Is Steroid Shot Making An Indent On Leg On The Spot Where There Is Swelling And Redness Due To Beesting Right Treatment?
I have swelling and redness on my leg where I was stung by a bee one and a half years ago. The swelling comes and goes. Very inflamed. I have been to a dermatologist and they recommended a steroid shot, but said it could make in indent on my leg instead of the sweeping red spot. He also said mt body should absorb the swelling.. Recommendations?

Hi,
The single hyperkeratotic lesions may be following trauma or bees sting. The lesion may respond to Intradermal injection triamcinolone 10 mg. if the injection is given in proper way by expert,there is less chance of side effect of skin atrophy.
