Hello,
Thank you for your query.
Your symptoms could occur as part of the
contraceptive pills and
premenstrual syndrome as well as in
pregnancy.
It is usually to soon to find out if you are pregnant until you have missed a period.
I recommend :
- a home pregnancy test (If your period is late)
-if the tests is negative, repeat after a week. If still negative, consult your
OBGYN to see if all is normal
-you may need an
ultrasound to check for any ovarian cysts.
-please take your contraceptive pills correctly and regularly to avoid unwanted pregnancy.
Also note that there is a small percentage chance of pregnancy even when on the pill (3%).
If you are pregnant, please consult your OBGYN for further care.
The side effects of the medications can be helped by staying well hydrated, eating a balanced diet and taking proper rest and exercise.
Hope this helps.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Wish you good health
