Is Stool Softener The Cause For Respiratory Syncytial Virus In A Child?
My great grand son is 3 and he has had constipation issues .The dr. prescribed stool softeners for him but 2 weeks later he had to have another enema. The dr. said to increase the stool softeners . Now he has RSV and they can t get his fever to stay down .He would not eat anything the last two days but they put him in the hospital overnight and gave him fluids .They are on the way back to the hospital because his fever went up to 104 again and now he won t drink anything .Could the stool softener have anything to do with his rsv not getting better?

it is non-demonstrated that cause of RSV infection been that treatment, but if your child have a constipation and a rare infection, more reasonable is to think that a basis illnes is causing both condition
