Is Sudden Loss Of Consciousness A Cause For Concern?

My 16 year old daughter continually passes out at doctor s visits. Eye Dr last month after being administered eye drops for dry eye, and then today at the Dermatologist s office, just for a consult for her acne. Is there anything I can do ? She said while helping me with my sprained ankle yesterday, she was getting light-headed just putting ice on ankle. It seems like anything medical related gives her anxiety..

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be due to low blood pressure. However we have to rule out other possibilities like panic attacks also.
If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
