General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello!

I would like to know the location of your cyst. It's size and consistency. Usually we see ovarian cysts. It is easily drained by Laproscopy. The procedure is simple painless and less recovery time. Currently medications treating a cyst are very minimal.

Consult your Gynaecologist regarding the options to remove the cyst. Please don't delay, since if it is an ovarian cyst it may undergo torsion and you might land up in emergency. Do not panic, as I said the surgery is simple and has a very high success rate.

Hope you recover soon.

Dr.Karan Shekar.
