Is Surgery Beneficial For Sinusitis?

Hi, i am parmod from Chandigarh,age 28. I am suffering from sinusitis last 10 years. I have FESS in year 2007. But i have no effect at all, then again and again get sinus infection. Now docter suggest me again a surgery because antibiotics, steroids, decongestants are not able to cure my infection.

is that surgery is beneficial for me ??

Hi.Thanks for writing on HCM.
Majority of the patients get relief on FESS.But in a few case where the infection is hidden in sinuses FESS might not be able to clear the infection.In these case surgery enables to clear these pockets which are resistance to medications.I would advise to go ahead with surgery.All the best.Get well soon.
